Dirk Kikstra is born in the Netherlands, raised in the States. He is educated in California and started his career as the assistant of world famous portrait and fashion photographer Richard Avedon. Dirk has been working as an energetic fashion documentary photographer in the US and Amsterdam for a wide range of international fashion magazines and brands. In addition, you might have seen him as Holland’s Next Top Model’s photographer and judge. Besides fashion photography, Dirk has a true fascination for cars.
